Here is my December 2008 Trance music mix 1.  For this DJ set I decided to bring it up a notch, the trance song / track selection is a bit more harder on the bass and faster (138 bpm).  Mainly vocal and melodic trance with some progressive trance songs… I hope you enjoy it.

Here is an old school trance music mix from my personal collection of Trance mix sets. This Trance music mix dates back to December, 2000, that is 8 years ago. You will notice that Trance music styles have evolved quite a bit since then.

Brian Transeau, also known as BT has paid his dues and earned his place among the legends of electronic music. BT’s music is not just electronic though. Although he relies heavily on an arsenal of electronic instruments and tones, his songs have a decidedly organic feel to them. “I try to make really provocative, emotional, electronic music that has an essence of humanity. It doesn’t sound like technology controlling the human. It sounds like the human controlling the technology,” BT explains.

If you love electronic music in general then you have to go the Ultra Music Festival (UMF) at least once in your life. Whether it’s Trance, House or Techno that you like there is something for everyone at the Ultra Music Festival, sometimes there are even a few bands that are not electronic by nature…like “The CURE”, and “The Bravery”, which are alternative and rock bands.

As of October 2008, DJ Mag magazine released their “Top 10 DJs of 2008” list (see below).
Armin Van Buuren is on top with number one, followed by DJ Tiesto and then Paul Van Dyk (PVD). The rest of the list are the usual suspects like Ferry Corsten, Sasha and John Digweed. Above and Beyond and Marcus Schulz are newer to the list.
