The group Tritonal began in early 2007, since then they have built a reputation for themselves and today Tritonal can be considered one of the most recognized trance and progressive electronic music dual. Both Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed are very talented musicians and they it shows in the creativity of their tracks. Both are American’s from opposite ends of the United States.
Chad was a remixer from Austin, Texas and he was doing remixes for some of the dance music labels like Armada and Alter Ego Records. Dave was a solo artist from Washington D.C. that was working on his very own artist album. The two met online and had similar ideas about music production and sound design technique, eventually they became close friendship and then formed Tritonal.
Tritonal’s remixes and original tracks were played by renowned and respected DJs around the world. Their first big hit “Piercing Quiet” was voted best track by thousands of listeners to Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance’ radio show. Other songs like Daybreak, Lights Over Austin, Suede, Utopia and Kiss Me Here peaked interest of the global trance community. Tritonal gained support from Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Ferry Corsten, Stoneface & Terminal and Gareth Emery as a result of their superb productions.
In addition to producing one great track after another, Tritonal has been able to get their tracks license to many labels such as Anjunabeats, Armada, Coldharbour, Flashover, Blackhole and AVA Recordings. Also their productions have selected for compilation albums like as Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats: Volume 6, Markus Schulz’s Armada at Ibiza and Toronto ‘09, Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance Top 15 and Abbott & Chambers’ Alter Ego Sessions: Volume 2.
In the U.S Tritonal has a large fan base but their fans are ever increasing across the globe. On stage they put on a truly memorable, energetic stage presentation and Tritonal shows no signs of a slow-down. These guys just do not DJ in the United states they have headlined dance parties at top notch clubs in Russia, Asia, the U.S, the U.K and Australasia. On top of producing amazing trance and electronic music songs, Tritonal has a hectic touring schedule. Chad and Dave also produce the popular “Air Up There” radio show which they used as the platform to launch their new label “Air Up There Recordings.”
For the “Air Up There Recordings” Tritonal would like to concentrate on more emotional, melodic, forward thinking dance music. The main driver behind the “Air Up There Recordings” will be to create intelligent, uplifting trance that has a fresh and evolving sound. Chad and Dave (Tritonal) will be looking for a splendid melody or hook and the musical aspect of every tracks they release.
In 2011 Tritonal released their artist album, but this is certainly not the last you will see of Tritonal. They are a force to be reckoned with in the EDM scene and will continue to pump out hits your years to come.
